race

in 2008 I got a new bike and was training super hard and was feeling super good. i ended up breaking my wrist before the season started and than got into a bad car wreck. By the time i healed up there was one only a couple races left. So i head over to rimrock lake to see what the comp was like. I ended up taking fourth place in open A which was also my first time racing that class i overallsome where in the low twentys.  So now i am back and am ready for 09.

on saturday i rode the poker run that they were haveing I ended up doin about 80 miles. The next day i wasnt expecting to race untill my dads friends talked him into letting me race. Anyways there were about 500-600 riders here. I started out strong and was doin really good but they didnt have the course marked that good and since i was more up front in the begging me about 50 other riders ended back on the part of the course that we had already done. So by the time we got back on track I had to pass all of the riders that i passed in the begging. So that was a big set back. Then there was a deep river crossing that i did really good in. At the end of my first lap i relised that i had a flat so when i got to the pits we through another tire on which was another set back. I ended up 206 overall out of 500-600 riders. I still had a lot of fun and it was another awsome challenge for me.

Frost Bite was the first race of the new season. I was riding in the 200b class; it was my second time doing a race in that class. I came in 3rd after the long 3 hour race. It was a awsome start for the the 2006 season. I also thank Cycle Gear, Motorex, and Six Six One for helping me for 06.
