Well didn't do to bad on the 25K could have done better. I have been out of the loop because I have started work in a different city and the only free time that I get is spent training, so I appologize I will be checking my Loop'd mail more often. train hard but have fun.

Well I have let my leg rest and recover since the river bank run and have completed my first triathlon the Block House 58 long distance tri, which was 1.5K swim, 35 mile bike, 7.1 mile run. Completed in 3:14:48 and took 2nd in my age group and 14th overall out of about 42-45 not to bad for a first race looking forward to my next one on the 13th of this month an olympic distance course. Ran the 25K today injured with a finishing time of 1:53:45, not what I wanted but good enough. Next up the Bayshore marathon in 2 weeks, hoping the injury to my knee is decreased in pain or gone for that one or it is going to be a very long race for me. Train hard, train smart. Irishmic

Well I have the 5/3rd river bank 25K run this sat. I have been injured for the past week and a half with no running only biking and we will see how my knee holds up during sat run. I hope all goes well because I have the bayshore marathon on the 24th of this month, will let you know how things go.

My running times have been ok for the up and coming marathon and 25K. The weather has sucked around here, windy about 20-30 mph and rainy. Well hopefully the wind will be down for tomorrows run. Irishmic

Well training is going good, I have 2 running races coming up in May. The 5/3rd river bank 25K on May 10th and the bayshore marathon on May 24th and the Ironman training is still roll'n.

Well I have had 2 weeks off recovering from some kind of upper chest stuff, had a hard time breathing when running and no energy. Just started back training this week and I feel better but still feel that crap in my chest a little still but gotta keep roll'n first race of the year is a couple of months away and I need to qualify for the 2009 Boston marathon. Well back to running the frozen roads of Michigan. Irishmic
