BMX Racing
How did you get started?
My father got me interesred in 2005, he raced back in the seventies and early eighties. He got me a racing bike and brought me, my two brothers and two of my sisters to St. Peters BMX, (St. Louis area). It was awesome! I was hooked immediately. Believe it or not, my dad started racing again just two weeks later!
List your competitive highlights
Well, I moved up from Novice to Intermediate pretty quickly, so I had tough competition early on. One of my highlights is a 5th place finish in the Missouri State Championships. Recently, I won my first intermediate race in Desoto, TX, Metroplex BMX. I was actually there for USA Diving Zone Nationals and we brought our bikes just in case we had some extra time to race!
What are you planning for next season?
I just started racing cruiser, so I guess I would like to improve my starts and speed in class, then work on the same in cruiser.
