Q&A - Competition
How did you get started?
I have been around drag racing since I was 3 years old watching my dad at our local race track. When I was old enough to drive we threw me in a door car and caught the bug after a pass.
List your competitive highlights:
NHRA Track Champion 2005, Finish 4th in Division 7 Finals two years running, 24 final round appearances, 18 wins, Super Chevy Finalist, 3 semi final appearances at Wally races.
What are you planning for next season?
I have a new car this year, 66 ss chevelle. In our first 4 races this year we have made the semi-finals in 3 of those races. So just to carry on the late round appearances and to get used to this car and start winning some races. Most of all pick up some sponsors for this season along with the next.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
My biggest accomplishment in my eyes would be my first win. I won my first race in a 72 chevy truck I had. In fact my first ever win I doubled up that weekend. So I won friday went back saturday and won then too. So that was really cool.
