DADE

HONEYWELL

I first started riding when I was 2 ½ years old. The first race I ever competed in was at Wide Open Sports Arena (Arenacross) in Renton Washington in late 2005 on a 1998 KTM Pro Senior. I placed 2nd. I continued through the series of 8 weeks to come out 4th over all out of over 20 riders.

My dad then bought me a membership at a local track, (Dairy land), to practice at over the summer. I practiced as much as I could, while I worked mostly on the 'Table Top' jump, I also worked on the 'Whoop' section. I quickly started not only clearing the 'Table' but, also doing 'No Footers' over it on a regular basis.

I then entered the 2006 Northwest Arenacross Nationals held by WHR Motorsports. I missed the first three races, yet, by the 7th race I was 5th overall in the point standings.

My dad then bought me a 2005 KTM Pro Senior for Christmas and an A.M.A. Membership. I traveled with my dad to Pasco, WA. for the 8th race of the series. I was not used to the bike so I got a last place hole shot. But I worked my way through the pack to 3rd. By the end of the series I finished 3rd overall in points, yet didn't qualify for the Series overall due to lack of required number of races for the series.

I practiced hard all summer and entered a few races throughout the summer winning a few here and there getting ready for the next series.

In April of 2007 at age 7, I was very lucky to get picked to compete in the KTM Junior Supercross Challenge during Supercross at Seattle's 'Quest Field' in front of 40,000+ people. I didn't win, but it was so cool! I got to meet James Stewart, Ryan Villapoto & Chad Reed!

I raced in the 2007 Northwest Nationals Arenacross Series hosted again by WHR Motorsports. I missed the 2nd race of the series because I blew my motor. I finished the Series 3rd overall in the 50cc 7-8 Class and 4th Overall in the 50cc Open Class.

On April 16th, 2008 my KTM Pro Senior was stolen out of my garage three days before the last race of the series to be held in Idaho. We drove to Idaho for the races anyway. My father picked me up a 2005 King Cobra at the track and I rode it for the last race. I took a 4th and 3rd for the day. I also raced my 65cc for the first time and took 4th.

I then started a new Motocross series on Thursday nights at Hannegan's Speedway on both the 50cc and 65cc. I have been in the top 3 on the 50 every race even though I am not used to the new bike and it has been not running too well. I have placed in the top 5 on the 65cc and improving every race.

I competed at Washougal on May 3rd for the Loretta Lynn's Area Qualifier and placed 3rd, advancing to the Regional in California at the end of May. Unfortunately we had bike problems in CA. and didn't advance to Tenn.  Maybe next year!  I took 3rd overall in the Washington State Championship in the 50cc 7-8 Class and 5th overall in the 65cc 7-8 Class in 2008.  I won the Northwest Nationals Arenacross Championship this winter and recently finished the Washington State Gold Star Series taking 2nd overall.  Unfortunateley in the middle of the series my motor blew and missed a race.  My dad bought me a back up bike for the remainder of the series which I was riding until its transmission went out.  I will be riding a borrowed bike until he can fix 'em. Bummer! I am currently 4th overall in points in the Washington State Championship Series even with all the bad luck.  I have also been riding an 85cc latley which I am really amped about getting one as soon as dad can afford one!

Another sport that I like to compete in is soccer. I have been playing soccer since I was 5 and play both indoor and outdoor. I play with other kids that are 1 to 2 years older than me and scored over 30 goals last year in league play.

I am very good in school and I am one of the youngest and smallest in my class, but it doesn't stop me from playing hard and riding strong.
