Q&A - Competition

How did you get started?

I have always been involved with motorsports but never competed until I moved to TX. My best friends here in TX started to race and I just could not stand on the side lines, I had to give it a try. Once I got on and started to ride, that was all it took for me to be in love with the sport.

List your competitive highlights

Being able to compete is the biggest highlight. My first race was the proof I needed for myself. It was at that point that I realized I was a competitor and racing was something I could do and love every minute of it.

What are you planning for next season?

To become a more competitive and skilled rider. To move up in classes and work my way to becoming an expert class rider.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

Earning my Bachelor's in Science degree. Majored in Biology with minors in Chemistry, Physics and Math.

What inspires you to compete?

What inspires you to compete? My family and friends inspire me to compete and push me to become a better rider. My love for the sport and what I gain from racing also pushes me and inspires me to reach new goals.

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

Sitting at the starting gate at my first race and not being able to get to the hole shot because I was in nuetral and not in second gear.

Why do you like this sport?

I love the speed and the rush from hitting table tops and landing jumps. I love the competition and the comradery at every race event.
