+ I can’t login to my account!

Here are some things to try when you are having login issues:
1.    Please make sure you are trying to login using the ORIGINAL email you used to create your account
2.    Reset the password using the 'Forgot Password" link on the sign up page.

+ Changing Your Headshot

To make a photo a headshot:

     1)  Go to Home > Photos
     2)  If you haven't uploaded your image yet, click 'Upload'
     3)  If your image already exisits, go to the gallery it is located, then click on the Image you want
     4)  Click the "Make Headshot" link below your selected image

Your headshot will now be changed.

+ How do I link my name on the ABA site to my profile?

If you have completed your profile and your name on the ABA Points section is still not linking to it, please follow the Step by Step setup process:

1)  Add your ABA membership number, classes and competition info in your account.

- Go to Home > My Sports
- Add the 'Add New' button next to 'Sports I Compete In', then select BMX and select 'Racing' as your discipline
- Click 'Add Classes', Select ABA from the sanctioner dropdown, Add your class(es) and Save
- Click on the Membership # link and add your ABA number

 

2)  Confirm that your First & Last Name in your account is exactly the same as your ABA Membership.  Make sure there are no spaces or extra characters before or after your First & Last name. Go to Settings and click EDIT button next to Contact / Personal Info


3)  Confirm that the City & State in your Loop'd account is exactly the same as your ABA Membership.  Go to Settings and click EDIT button next to Contact / Personal Info


If you have completed all steps over 2 weeks ago or have confirmed that all above steps were already completed, please fill out the form below.

+ How do I add someone as a friend?

1.    Login to your account
2.    Go to a profile and click “Add as a Friend”
3.    To manage all your friends “My Home” --> “My Friends”

+ Adding a Result to Your Profile

1. Go to your "profile" page .
2. Click "Results".
3. Click "add new result" .
4. Fill in the information. If you'd like to highlight the result, causing it to display at the top of your results page, click the checkbox at the bottom.
5. Click save.

+ Adding a Class to your Account

1. Sign In to your account
2. Roll over Sports at the top, click Add Sports
3. Click Add New under the appropriate Sports I compete in / Sports I do / Sports I like; or click next to the sport you would like to edit
4.Click on "edit classes" next to the sport you'd like to edit or add a class for. 
5. Select your sanctioner from the drop down. This will bring up a list of classes associated with the sanctioner.
6. If your class is not listed, click the add custom class tab and enter the class you compete in.

+ How can I renew or upgrade my account?

Sign in and go to Settings > Account Level, then click on the Upgrade or Renew button.

Please make sure your billing address matches that on your credit card to avoid incomplete transactions.

+ Changing Your Display Name

Unfortunately, there is no way to change your display name, as it is tied in with your profile's unique URL.

You can change the name you have listed as your first and last name by visiting "account settings" and then selecting "contact info."  Or, you can create a new account with the new display name you want.

Sponsorship

+ Terminating a Contract with a Sponsor

At this time, we only offer sponsors the ability to terminate a contract with a sponsored athlete.

If you wish to break a contract with one of your sponsors, you must get in touch with your sponsor and request that they terminate your contract. We cannot do this for you.

Please be aware that a contract is legally binding. Terminating a contract is poor practice and may negatively affect future sponsorship offers.

+ Can I add other sponsors to my profile?

1. Click “Profile” in the top navigation bar.
2. Click on “add content” .
3. Select "free text or html" and then enter your sponsor's name and logo in the main box.  You can change the header to be any title you want to label the box, including "other sponsors" or the sponsor's name.

+ Does upgrading my account provide me with more or different sponsors?

Upgrading doesn't give you different sponsors to apply to, but you can send Unlimited applications rather than the 15 you get with the free account.

+ Deleting Old Sponsorship Applications

Response time varies from sponsor to sponsor; some are highly active and will respond daily where others wait to get a number of requests before reviewing each person’s information and making decisions. If you don’t get a response from a particular company, don’t take it personally, but instead support those who do take the time to respond.

+ How come I see no sponsorship opportunities for my sport?

If no sponsorship opportunities are available to you, it may be because there are no companies looking to sponsor athletes in your sport at this time.

If you see a company that you wish to apply to, but don’t see the listing in your account, the best thing to do is become a Brand Insider and send them a message asking them to sponsor your sport.

+ How do I remove a content section for my profile?

Go to your profile and click the X  in the top right hand corner of the profile module you want to delete.

+ How do I make my profile public or private?

Currently, there is no way to make your profile completely private.  You can update the information that is visible in your profile by going to Settings and adjusting your Privacy Settings.

If you are unable to find your profile in search - you must complete it by validating your email and uploading at least 1 photo.

+ How do I add results to my Profile?

If you are unable to add results. please make sure you have:
1) Selected your Sports
2) Selected you sanctioner(s) and class(es)

To select your sports:
- Go to Home > My Sports
- Click Add Sport
- Select your sport category, sport and disciplines from the drop-downs
- Click “save”

Then, Select your classes:
- Click "edit my classes”
- Choose your sanctioner from the drop-down select your corresponding classes . If you do not see your class, click the “add custom class” tab to add your own.

Now go back to the Results section of your profile to Add a Result:
- Click "Add New Result"
- Select the discipline you competed in, then click "next"
- Select your event from the drop-down. (If you do not see your event, add it by clicking “Click here to add a new event”)
- Add your result and click “save.”

If your sport, discipline, sanctioner or class is not in our system, Click Here

Team FAQs

How do I add team members to my team profile page?

Members must request to join your team by clicking on the "Join Team" button on your profile.

You will receive the request in your team account Inbox in the “team requests” section where you can accept or deny it.

Why can’t I add results to my team profile?

There is currently no Team Results section in the team account profile.  For now you may enter results in the profiles of each of your team members or add a TEXT module to your team profile where you can enter the results.

How does sponsorship work for teams?

Sponsorship for teams is very similar to individual athlete sponsorship, except most companies require the team manager purchase all product for their team members.

Athletes may still seek individual sponsorships outside the team as long as the companies they are applying to are not competitors of their team’s sponsors.

If there are any questions about whether a company is a competitor, please contact  each company’s Rider Support and ask whether there is a conflict before applying to (and definitely before accepting!) sponsorships.
