I'm happy to say that my knee surgery went well. Still another four weeks on crutches but I start PT next week. Once I'm off crutches I will get the shoulder repaired. Will be good to have this all done. I've just been doing my schoolwork and playing a lot of XBox.

Hey, just wanted to let you know I'm not going to be able to ride for a few months. I'm having knee surgery Oct. 2nd to repair the ACL and LCL. Once I'm off crutches I need to have my right shoulder repaired. I've dislocated it at least 6 times in the past few years and last week I was throwing a stick for a dog and my shoulder dislocated. I have to get fixed so I can come back and be strong. Heath

Texas was rough on me. I was running good lap times at Lake Whitney but just couldn't put it all together. I injured my foot and was not able to ride any of my mains. Very disappointing. Unable to ride Oak Hill, just watched for the week. I just need to heal so I can come back strong. Spending a little more time in Southern California, visiting my sister who is just moving there, and then heading back to Washington. Focusing on qualifiers for Loretta's next.

1-11-07 Glen Helen Raceway
Thursday at Glen Helen I broke my collarbone. I was really feeling good on the track and having a good day of practice. There was this spot I knew had a soft edge. I tried to move my line but it caught my back tire and the bike started swapping. It went one way and then the other before I went over the handlebars. I landed on my shoulder. The doctor says 4 weeks and he'll take another xray. I should be able to get back on the bike after that. I'm doing a lot of school work and riding a stationary bike. It's going to be so good to be able to ride again. I hope to be ready for Texas.

I'm sure enjoying the sun here in California as I train. Sorry, yeah right, to have missed the recent rain and snow in Western Washington. The track I usually ride was under water a couple weeks ago. It's really nice to have a lot of tracks to choose to ride. I'm making some new friends and getting to ride with some fast guys. Just staying focused on my riding, training, and school work.

It`s only two weeks until the Dodge Amateur National at Hangtown. I`m looking forward to this race. Last year it was really tough since I just moved to the intermediate class. My goals are set much higher for better results this year. It will be great to see a lot of my friends that I only see at these national events.
After Dodge I`ll come home to the Seattle area for a couple of weeks. I hope to get my 2007 bikes and then head to Arizona for the Amateur Open the first week of November. Then my plans are to spend three months or so in southern California riding and training for Lake Whitney, Oak Hill, and World Mini`s. The winter rain in Seattle makes it very difficult to get much riding time in. It will be a different experience spending the winter months away from home and in California but to be competitive I need to give myself the opportunity to train at a higher level.
See you at the races!

I just got back from racing in Alaska. I raced the Alaska State Championship in Fairbanks Alaska. I went up with EWMXSCHOOLS.com and helped with a three day motocross school. Then raced in the Alaska State Championship. Good riders in Alaska and I took 1st place in the 125 intermediate class. I hope to go back and do it again next year.

I just completed the 10 round Pac West Series this last weekend in Albany Oregon. It was a long and hard fought series. I took 1st place in the 125 class! It all came down to the last moto of the last round and I was able to pull it off and take the overall win. I won the 125 series by 4 points. I took 2nd place in the 250 intermediate class. I scored 79 points while the guy that won it had 80 points. I lost it by 1 point. Great racing and a great series!! I will be racing locally here in Washington, Idaho and Oregon and preparing for the Dodge Amateur National.
