What inspires you to compete?
This is a tough question. Honestly I have never figured it out. So I will try to describe it like this,. I compete because it is a social thing.I enjoy being around people with a drive to do better than the other guy, not so he can rub it in, but so the others around that person want to be better. it is a strange pull that is deep down inside, a pull that is a natural high of adrenaline. without it I feel lost. I hope this makes sense to you, mybe it does, maybe it is why you compete as well.
Describe your style...
My style? I guess it is conservative, go fast but not so fast you throw it all away. fast enough that you're half scared, almost on the edge, but not quite. A 10th place finish if you gave it your all is better than giving it more than you have and getting a DNF.
Some Personal Information About Me:
I am A proud single parent of a beautiful daughter. she comes to my races to be there for me, even though she really doesn't like the outdoors. I work as a trash truck driver, and a wedding photographer on weekends(which sometimes gets in the way of practices on race weekends). I am very family oriented, and believe that a family should play together to stay together. my dad is my best friend, we do so much together.

No I didnt make it to attitash but you bet your ass I'll be there at mount snow shredding it up in Aug. I need to get some practice in before next race though, I need to get my legs back in shape. Maybe my buddy mike and I will hit attitash #2 seeing as hes got that cabin right in the area. See you and Mike at Mount Snow. I'll bring the beer this time :) |
