My involvement in racing started back when I was just four years old and my dad built his first stock car. For me it was love at first sight. As a kid, besides getting underfoot in Dad's shop, I raced BMX, played baseball, soccer, basketball and track. I have spectated more times than I can count, I have been flagman, track photographer, stager, announcer and tech inspector. I started racing late, not until 1999. I started out in Hobby Stock, from mid 1999 to 2001. 2002 I missed most of due to an injury, but started out my IMCA Stock Car career that year by catching the last five races of the season. 2003 I won the IMCA Thunder Mountain Speedway stock car championship. I finished Second in points in 2004 and 2005. 2006 and 2007 saw some bad luck, but I have had at least one feature win in every that I have raced with the exception of 2002. I have finished top ten in points every year I have raced. I have 30+ feature wins, 20+ trophy dash wins, 20+ heat race wins, been named "best appearing car", "sportsman of the year" 2 times, "best pit crew" two times, TMS 2003 track champ, LVMS Duel in the Desert "Thunderstock" champ in 2003, finished Second in IMCA Stock Car state points three times.

Shane drives the wheels off of our hobby stock. His first season in hobbys, 2006, at 15 years old, he got his first feature win. Last season he had a trophy dash win and two heat wins. Shane raced bmx for a few years, then at nine years old he started in go-karts, and in five years he won 10 features. Shane also occasionally competitively competes in skateboarding. His other loves are drumming and snowboarding.
