How did you get started?
In july 2007 I asked my son if he would like to give BMX a try. He really liked it so I figured that I should set an example and not just yell for him to pedal like so many others. So I signed up again after 22 years off of a bike.
List your competitive highlights:
Since I have only been back for less than a year there arent too many... Almost dying in Reno is a favorite, 3rd in Reno Silverdollar nationals pre race (then the crash), 1st in El Centro at the state qualifier, Qualifying for the west coast redline cup. I'm sure there will be more...
What are you planning for next season?
Next season I plan to race more national events. Hopefully we will be traveling alot more with my son to see some different tracks, we really enjoy that.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
Thus far my biggest accomplishments have been introducing my son into the BMX world that I loved so much as a kid, oh and being the #1 cruiser in CA02 is pretty nice too.......
