Q&A - Competition

How did you get started?

I raced quite a lot back in the early to mid 80's. I worked at and was sponsored by Pauls Bike Shop in Chula Vista, CA for a few years. I got back into racing last year after 22 years off when my son decided that he wanted to give it a try. It's just as much fun now as it was back then!

List your competitive highlights:

Ended up #1 CRUISER for CA02 and #4 in So Cal! Pretty proud of that...

What are you planning for next season?

More traveling to Nationals, state races and other tracks than we have this year. I think I'm going to ride 20" in the nationals, maybe...

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

Helping my son to become a competitive 7X.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I raced for about 7 years from 1979 thru 1987. I came back in to the sport in Sept 2007. My son and I race about 5 times a week here in San Diego in addition to state, national, and RLC races.

	Thanks. I'm missing the track. I should be back soon. Starting Physical Therapy on my neck in a week. I might come out for some practice this week. I just can't keep my head up for a whole night of racing when I get on the bike.
