oh hummmm, summer is here time for the pavement to melt.  I got off work early the other day and I thought I would do a quick ride at SoMo.  Talk about being KFC'ed, man I guess I am done riding for the summer.  oh to have the $$ to quick work and just ride, I think Colorado or Utah would be nice this time of year.  Go figure Arizona is the only state in the country people want to leave in the Summer time.  Well for all you out there that can ride during the summer, have a blast. Me guess I will have to just gym it for the summer.

Well this years MBAA session has come and gone.  After the second race this sesson I picked up a new bike.  I upgraded from a Giant Reign to an Intense Spider 29er.  With this upgrade I saw my speed and performance greatly increase.  My first race out, i scored a podium finish (5th place).  There after I finished on the podium at each race.  With these good finishes I was in 3rd place in State in my Class (Rock Crusher).

I missed the last two races because my wife and I went to France to visit family.  So my unoffical finish for this season was a 3rd place.  Not to bad for a weekend warrior.  I have had a lot of fun this year, meeting people, racing, etc.  I look forward to the 2008 Dust Devil series.  This is always a fun series to race, a little smaller than the MBAA but always a fun series.  So if you see the Rooster on the trail say Hi.
