Yep...big 1.5 climb at the beginning of the race. Gradual but painful. The BCSP is close to 1st on my list of favorite courses. Thanks for getting back to me. Good luck with your preride. Oh and the course runs clockwise for both loops. I made that mistake when I rode it the first time. Take care. |

Hey I just noticed that there is a Kentuckiana race where each of our states will compete against each other as part of their series. Check it out. The first annual race is in Bloomington like I mentioned above. Next year it will be in Kentucky. Hope to see you there. |

Howard, thanks for the post. Yeah, I will definitely get down there for at least one race. I just hope that I can do as well in Sport as I did in beginner. I have a feeling the trails will be like this up here for at least another 3-4 weeks.
If they are I'm headed down to Bloomington State Park for the trail down there. That is the closest trail to Kentucky during the Dino Series next year. Last year I did Ferdinand State Park and that kick my butt. The hills were killer on a single speed. Take care and I look forward to seeing you at a race. Thanks, Howard! Odyssey was a rough race - had some, er, serious nutrition problems. But in the end it worked out! I do like the motor tabs. I've been using the product for about a month now and like the orange flavor - not sickeningly sweet like some of the other stuff on the market! Good luck to you this spring season! |
