How did you get started?

My Dad started racing when he was 8. His Dad (My Grandpa) got him involved. I started on a PW50 with training wheels when I was 3 years old. I started racing Flat Track when I was 5, and I havent turned back, and I am 21 now.

List your competitive highlights

Started Racing at 6 years old. 1996 Ranked 6th Overall in the 60 Modified Class at the Amateur Nationals. 1999 District 27 125 Modified Class Champion. 2001 turned AMA Pro Sport. 2005 first and only woman to ever win a Gene Romero West Coast Flat Track series event. It was at Castle Rock in the Top Gun 450 class. 2005-2006 Puyallup Indoor Open Amatuer Class Champion. 2006 finished 4th in the 505 Modifield class on the Short Track at the Grand Championships in DuQuoin, Illinois. 2006 3rd Overall in the Gene Romero West Coast Flat Track Series Top Gun 450 Class.

What are you planning for next season?

I am turning Pro again! In 2001, I was involved in a horrible accident, that nearly ended my Racing career. I was told that I could never ride again. I went along with the prognosis for over a year, until I decided that my life wasnt worth living how someone wanted me to, and that I was in control. I still struggle with my injury on a daily basis, so this is a big step for me. I will compete at a few of the AMA Hotshoe events. I will also be racing all the AMA District 27 local events and traveling to DuQuoin, Illinois to compete in the Dirt Track Grand Championships. When not on the road, I will race Gene Romero's West Coast Flat Track Series, and a few of Eddie Mudler's Vintage Dirt Track Series races. 2007 is a big year for me!

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

Personally, my biggest accomplishment relates to Racing and to life. I have overcome an injury that I was told would hold me down. I don't have the strength to hold a hair dryer in my hand and make myself pretty, but I do have the strength to race my motorcycle. I have overcome the horrible day when I was told I would never race again. I have learned to live with an injury that affects my daily life. I have found a way to still race, and fufill my dreams. I never imagined I would ever have my chance as a Pro Dirt Tracker again, and now I do. All because I have given myself that chance. So to put it in the plainest form: My biggest accomplishment is showing those doctors just how wrong they were, and making my OWN dreams come true!
