Fluid was all over the state this weekend at 5 different events. We had a great time in San Jose at the American Velodrome Challenge, and followed that up with the Golden Gate Triathlon in San Francisco. In Socal, we were at the San Diego International Triathlon, Manhattan Beach Grand Prix, and the Cynergy Cycles Open House. Crazy huh? Check out some cool pics from the weekend!
Manhattan Beach Grand PrixManhattan Beach, CaJune 28, 2009This was an incredible event. Fluid athletes were all over the podium baby! The Men's Cat 2 race had Mike McMahon from Team Velocity on the top spot with Alex Jarman from Suamis DET taking the bronze! Brian Forbes from Ride Clean took the bronze in the Masters 35+ race as well! Kristina Seley (Touchstone Climbing) had a great race in the women's pro race taking 19th! Congrats everyone! Another amazing day for Fluid athletes. This Olympic Distance course was no problem for the Champion Chris Foster. Chris came off the bike almost 2 minutes down from Aussie Luke Bell, but ran him down with considerable ease to take the victory. This is the second year in a row that Chris has ran down Luke for the win. Also in the Pro field, Karl Bordine finished 6th, and Chris Berg finished 9th. An impressive day for all 3 of these Fluid triathletes! Break Away Training was also in the house, and had many top finishing athletes! Golden Gate TriathlonSan Francisco, CAJune 28, 2009On the other end of California, Fluid was being served to the 400+ triathletes that braved the San Francisco bay for an epic day of racing. This Olympic distance course was absolutely spectacular with a 10k run that went out and back across the golden gate bridge! Trust us, you want to do this race next year! See you at the races this summer! Cheers! Rich, Dave, and all of Team Fluid.

Hola! Fluid has been hitting the triathlon and cycling scene hard this season! We have been serving ice cold recovery drink to thirsty athletes all over the Western United States! This Blog will serve as an easy way to follow what the crazy dudes at Fluid are up to! It will also be a great place to learn about new Fluid dealers, Fluid friends, and other awesome information about Sports Nutrition! Cool huh? So, Where was Fluid this past weekend? Silicon Valley Triathlon Weekend June 20 - 21, 2009 San Jose, Ca This was a fantastic weekend put on by USA Productions. Saturday was a beginner friendly MTB Triathlon, that had one of the Fluid Dude's father-in-law race his first triathlon. We love you Mike! Also, the first lady of Fluid, Michelle Brown was 4th overall, and won her age group! Sunday was a fun filled day with well over 1200 racers, and perfect weather! The day also held the resurrection of the once famous Pro-Challenge. This format is very unique, with a 40K TT in the morning, followed by a 800m swim and 2 mile run that is done twice continuosly. This race had some fantastic athletes such as Chris Lieto, Becky Lavelle, Gina Kehr, and Alexis Waddell - Smith. Also in the field was Fluid's own John Dahlz (Collegiate National Champion) and Chris Foster (Top 100 ITU Ranked). Chris Lieto won the men's race followed closely by David Thompson, and Chris Foster to round out the podium. Becky Lavelle Took the women's title. It was an awesome day, and Fluid was flowing strong. Congrats, and we will see everyone for the next. Stay tuned for more fun filled Blog Posts, and let us know your story on our Forum! See you all at the next event! Cheers! Rich, Dave, and all of Team Fluid.
