I am finishing up my last minute packing before leaving tomorrow for the SERC #5 at the Ocoee Whitewater Center in Tennessee. As always, I am super excited and a little nervous. I've done well this series, winning every race so far and I see myself improving in not only speed but handling as well. But the other girls are getting better and faster too. It kind of feels like I have a bullseye on my back, lol! I rode tonight with Shelly Allen, Pro Mountain Bike Racer, and Barbara Perigard, Expert Mountain Biker. As always, I got my butt kicked, but they are awesome in giving me advice and pushing me to be faster. This weekend's race is also the US Cup East #1. I'm curious as to how big the classes will be. Well, I am off to bed to dream of sweet single track and racing down the Thunder Rock Express.
