I started off fairly well, I zerod the first check, with out any time keeping equipment. But I don't know what it is, riding with my dad never seems to work for me. In the last to years I've been doing well in the harescramble series, where he isn't following me. I go riding with friends, and I have fun and ride so much better. I rode the last enduro with John F. and Melanie J. and only dropped 14 points, which is the lowest yet, for me haha. Yesrerday I was glad he was there, but everytime I lost him, I rode better, then he would catch up, and I just couldn't seem to keep up a good speed. But seeing how there was only me and one other girl in my class, and she houred out, I did fairly well I guess. Hopefully I'll ride with John F. at the next enduro.

I learned two new things this weekend. I love racing in the morning, because it's to hot around one to race. I'm sue long course enjoyed racing in the morning, other than I heard it was fairly slippery. The other new thing would be it sucks to wait around to race. Thursday nights no problem. Sunday mornings, I just get worked up about my race, I think of all the things that could go wrong. If i think back, all my bad races have been at Hannegan, and I've probably only finished a few. But Sunday wasn't so bad. The start, I had to kick it a few times. So much for one good kick. But I got out in second or third I guess. I went into the woods second. First lap there were a lot of time consuming bottle necks. But I think I crashed maybe once, oh yeah, right before the Cody Noble. How dumb. the second and third lap I crashed in the same spot, going around the same tree. After my third lap there was four minutes left when I can through. My dad told me to do one more lap, and I just shook my head and was off. I took my time, trying to see if anyone else in my class was going to make a second lap. But I couldn't tell. This time I walked my bike around the tree, it's pretty pathetic, that that corner scares me, but it saved me from picking up my bike. I havn't felt so tired from a race this year. I'm hoping to do good in the enduro this weekend, like I did at Shelton. But my dad just had surgery, and I have no time keeping equipment, haha. It should be kind of interesting.

Saturday I raced my first WORCS event. I havn't riden at PR since the last NMA event there. It was very different. Normally, when were there it is quite cold, and rainy. The motocross track is usually deep mud, and we race a much longer course, or it seemed like. I didn't care for all the rocks, or the bumps haha. But it was fun, and if it wasn't so hot I probably would have had a better time in the clear cut section, or anywhere open. I hope o do another WORCS race soon.

Saturday I started off with the Poker Run. i was up pretty early, and just waited for someone to ride with. Finally I set out with Jake. After a couple of check points I lost Jake. So I continued to ride by myself. Last after the first loop, I started a second one. I didn't ride all of the second one, but my dad didn't want my to do a second one so I could save energy for the next day. The whole weekend I was nervous. I'm glad they had two starts, because it would have been dustier if they didn't. And the fact that the bridge crossing was at the end was also great. From the start of the race I was having trouble with my arms and hands. My hand would get stuck around my bars, and I wouldn't use the clutch or the break, not a great idea. It was fun, but very tiering. I can't wait for next year.

March 15th and 16th I raced at Eddieville. Saturday didn't count in my series, so it was more like practice. I got a great start and stayed in first the whole time. Towards the end someone started to catch up to me, but then went down on the last lap. Sunday I was a little more nervous. My start was alright, and I think I was the first girl off the line. Melanie caught up, but then went down. Finally Sara passed me. I stayed behind her, and kept her close. Near the last lap or two I passed her and stayed ahead the reast of the race. This was a great weekend.
