How did you get started?

My mom and I were walking back home one night when I was 13 and on a street corner, next to a sign that said "Free to a good home," was an 80s Gitane. I thought to myself "I'm somewhat of a good home" and walked the bike back home. I started riding it once every 2 weeks about 14 miles and pretty soon I was riding every day and racing every weekend.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

My biggest accomplishment is learning everything I did about this complex sport. Through all the ups and downs, I've been keeping track of what works, what doesn't, and what I need to do in order to obtain my desired results. This includes race tactics, nutrition, weight work, training, and everything remotely close. Medaling at Junior Track Nationals was definitely up there though.
