How I got started
I started riding with my family in the Mid 90's. For us it was a way to get out of the city and escape into peace. We rode fields for years, I never rode with anyone but my brothers and my Dad so racing never even occured to me. After moving to Westerville, OH my teacher Mr. Carter introduced me to someone who would eventually become my best friend and my favorite riding buddy. Ill never forget the first time I went to Indian Mound (a local track) and watched my buddy launch what I considered these Huge jumps. I knew right then and there Im going to do that!! He has raced his whole life and said it took years to accomplish what he does. I put it into my mind right then and there that I dont have years to get to that level, I need to do that now! So I started getting the basics down, took my time getting comfortable on the bike and before you knew it I was jumping 40ft tabletops with ease my first year of true serious riding. Since then Ive progressed on my speed and jumping ability and Im going nowhere but up!!!
Goals for the Future
My goal for this year is to get every local track dialed in 100%. There will be no jumps untouched. I plan on racing 250C and and 125C and staying competitive at the same time. I finished 3rd overall for 250C last year and Won my last race of the year so I definetly know I can do better than that. I also plan on getting into freestyle to help with my style and bike control.
