About Me

I live for competition. Everything i do in life is to become better than everyone else. Skiing has been my passion since i was 3. The thrill of going fast and having the spotlight on me gives me a rush. Unlike team sports, you have to do everything yourself, there's no help in a race, its all you. I haven't competed much yet, i dont get to ski nearly as much as i would like, but when i do, i practice like i play, all out all the time. I am one of the top varsity skiers on my school's ski team, unfortionatly we only do slalom. My real passion is downhill. Like i said before, i love to go fast and have a realy challange.

Im also a big lacrosse player. This summer i am playing for an elite travel/tournement team that only the best players from my area make. we have came in 2nd in our first tournement ever together as a team. the next tournement we came a first.

Through lacrosse and skiing, i have also found Road Biking, and new way to work out. I have a sick road bike and in my free time, i ride everywhere. 10 miles on a bike is nothing to me now. I have also began to run a lot of work out in my school gym. I strive to be better than everyone else and the only way to do that is practice and working out. When im not doing school work, im out working on something like waxing my skis, throwing a lacrosse ball around, or working on my endurnace and strength. My life is basicly sport, and im pretty dam good at it

Q&A - Competition

How did you get started?

My parents wanted me and my two brothers to ski when we were young. when i was three we were all beginner. thank god for my parents, without them i probably would never have started skiing.

List your competitive highlights:

I skied at the top of my schools varsity ski team. i blew away some kids that ski competitively for mountains every weekend.

What are you planning for next season?

well im starting off the season with a 2 week trip to New Zealand. Im gunna tear up the pow and hang out and experience the open mountains and what not. then i plan on getting my parents to drive me to the mountains whenever i have time.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

My biggest, probably teaching myself to ski. since i was so stubborn and hated lessons, i did everything myself. i watched people around me, fed off my older brothers, and did some trial and error. now, im a great skier and i've done it all by myself

What inspires you to compete?

My love for challenges. My desire to be first in everything i do and the glory that comes with it

Why do you like this sport?

Skiing has been my sport since i started when i was 3. I've basically taught myself, i always hated ski school. I love the thrill of going fast and having the spotlight on me.

Describe your style...

Im pretty laid back. More like a Bode Miller. I want to be better than everyone, and can be, but i like to have my good times and mess around when i ski.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I wish i could train more. I go skiing as much as i can, and every time i do i try my hardest to work on my technique. Unfortunately is not enough

Why do you compete?

I compete to prove to everyone that I'm the best. i put in the most time and tried the hardest to win and it paid off. I also love the pressure and the feeling you get when you do well, there is nothing like it
