Why do you like this sport?
MTB is where my roots are. I love the challenge, the fitness side of it, and no ride is ever the same as the last.
Some Personal Information About Me:
Love the outdoors. So that means I love mtb, road cycling, and skiing. That basically covers all the seasons. I'm pretty competetive and strive to do my best in every situation, whether that be on race day, training day, or even recovery days. I tend to go all out.
Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?
I love traveling. I've backpacked eastern Europe, totalling 15 countries. The best was when my cousin and I had rented a car and were crossing the border between Romania and Hungry. We got pulled over by the police and they demanded a fee for us not having an emergency tow cable in the trunk. We didn't have hardly any cash on us, and the bank was closed since it was Sunday. They almost arrested us.
Employment / Experience Summary
I am currently a B-1b mechanic in the United States Air Force. I'm looking to separate this February to finish up my degree and pursue an aviation maintenance career in the civilian world. Looking forward to the transition!
Why do you compete?
Everyone has a little bit of competetiveness in them. I'm one of those people that has a LOT of it. I love the challenges I'm faced with in a race and I'm always trying to improve. Also I love linking up with new competitors and I enjoy the commraderie that comes with it. Sure beats sitting at home on the couch watching TV and eating frozen pizzas!!!
