Overview

How I got started

I started riding because I didn`t like spectating. I wanted to race from day one but waited a year until I was comfortable on the bike. I started racing in June 2004 and haven`t looked back since.

Goals for the Future

? race as many of the local races as possible
? be in the points race for Raceway Park, District 6 and the Northeast Classic
? attend at least one national amateur race
? inspire enough women to show up to races that we have our own moto and show everyone what women can do

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

My boyfriend has been racing for many years. I had no idea what Motocross was when I met him but quickly learned. He was so passionate about riding and always went to the track to compete. It looked like fun and I was tired of being left out so I got a bike and started riding. I was preparing for my first race when I enjured my foot. I was devastated that I couldn`t ride for a couple weeks. I wanted to get on the track and feel the pressure of a race. After my first race, I was hooked. I get nervous heading up to the gate but once it drops I am so into the race.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I graduated from The College of New Jersey with a BA in Communication Studies. I work full time for Princeton Instruments/Acton and Redlake as MarComm Manager. I served four years active duty Air Force and two years Air National Guard as a Medical Technician.

Competitive Highlights

?My first race was on my 27th birthday and I received a 5` trophy for first place.
?I love racing no matter what the conditions are (bring on the mud).
?I have consistently been in the top 3 in points for Raceway Park, my local track, since I started racing.
?I was featured in an article for Cycle News in August 2006.
?The most important highlight is that I feel I am inspiring more women to race.
