What inspires you to compete?
Initially I just wanted to become a faster rider. I have friends that race at the pro level and they were always waiting on me. Now it's the thrill of chasing someone down and working your way around them.
Why do you like this sport?
Beside the competition. The people, whether it's at the track or on the trails they'll do anything they can to help. At my last race of the 08 season I was pulled off the line for a spark arrester issue. People came out of the wood work to help, even one competitor that I;ve been battling against for a overall podium for the season. How many sports would a competitor risk his race to help out someone that might knock he off the podium.
