What's up Racers?!  I had a race on the TT (Tight and Technical) track this time.  This is our flat track course and it is alot of fun.  This was the first time on the track since all the repair work was done since the last race.  The went well and me and my friend Gabe#95 were back racing each other again.  He is able to get by me on the straight away because his quad has more top speed then mine.  It is very tough to keep him behind me.  Dad has plans to increase my speed.   I will catch him soon enough!  This race is fun because I can try and slide the rear end around the corners.  I am still trying to learn exactly how to do it with out getting up on 2 wheels.  There wasn't much hard action in this race, but we did have 5 quads and I was scored in 4th place.  Also, I don't have enough rebound in the rear shock we were given and that does effect my handing quite a bit.  Dad needs to get it charged with Nitrogen and that should help out alot.  See you at the track!

Hi everybody!  I did some MX racing and I brought her home for 4th place.  I had a good battle trying to hold off my friend Gabe#95.  He was trying to get third from me and I was able to hold him off for 2 laps and then he finally got around me.  I raced him hard for sure and he raced hard and clean also.  I'll get right to the damage!  I had about 2 laps to go in the second moto when I grabbed some rear brake just before hitting the table top and I realized that I had no brakes at all and I was about to hit the table top a lot faster then I am comfortable with!  I held on to her and kept control.  I have no idea how much air I got but I was definitely "Flying!"  I was able to finish the race and I still ran it hard and was able to take the checkers.  When I was coming off the track and into the pits to park under our canopy, I tried to stop and I rode right through our canopy and almost ran my dad over!  It was actually pretty funny!  All of a sudden, everyone is looking at the rear of my quad and they all saw that my rear shock was blown out and that is also snapped in half!  Plus, the bottom shock mount on the swing arm was completely ripped off!  The swingarm looked really bad.  Then they saw that the brake line was cut up from the frame slamming down on it.  I did not know that I had this much damage!  I knew I had no brakes but I did not know why.  I didn't even notice how bad I was broke because I was so focused on the race!  I got really upset seeing how my quad was damaged and then my friend Kelly from our Racing Girls Club came over and talked to me and she explained how race quads will brake some times and that it could all be fixed.  She made me feel a lot better.  She also races in the Open ATV Class.  My Dad had his work cut out for him now!  He went straight to one of my sponsors-
TSUNAMI MOTORSPORTS and Byron and Ronnie went to work to repair the swing arm.  They also relocated the bottom shock mount 2 inches back to allow for a longer shock to be installed.  This will give me more travel and adjustment.  We got the swing arm on and had the brake line repaired.  Henry Simpson has loaned us a WORX shock until we are able to replace it.  The shock is a little tweaked, but it puts me back on the track racing against his son Jose!  My quad is in one piece again and ready to race!  I'll check you all later!  Keep the shiny side up-even 4-wheelers!  Raven #83

What's up everyone?  We had another fun raceday on Sunday!  The track has made an entirely new MX track and the old track no longer exists.  The new track is long and alot of fun. The starting gates were also moved and there are more plans for the track as time goes on.  Bob Bucek did a great job putting the new track together!
We had 4 quads in our class on Sunday, plus my friend Jonathan came out to race and he has the only other Polaris Predator on the island besides me!  The first moto started when the gates dropped and we took off.  Jonathan moved over onto me right after we started and I did not want to hit him so I got out of the gas and I let him go.  I was able to pass him on the next lap.  I was trying so hard to pass my friend Gabe #5 for second place.  I was all over the back of him through the doubles and the other obstacles and I was almost able to pass him and then he would hold me off till the straightaway and he would then drive away from me.  I would gain all that time back once we got into the technical parts of the track and then I would try and try again.  I could not pass him for second place, so I got third for the moto.
The second moto was alot like the first, except I passed my friend Jonathan on the hole shot and that put me right behind Gabe #5 right away.  We pretty much stayed glued to each other till the straightaway and then he would pull away from me again!  I kept running as hard as I could and he never got more then 30 feet away from me.  We were racing each other for the entire 6 laps!  It was alot of fun and we raced clean and I don't think we even bumped each-other at all!  I am enjoying racing against him.  He rides a DRX and his top speed is higher then my Predator, but Daddy is in the prcoess of ordering a clutch kit and that will boost my top speed alot.  He is still tweakin' the carb, but he wants to put a much larger one on, but they are expensive.  We will continue to build her up any way we can because racing is what we do!!!!!
This race now has me and my friend Gabe #5 tied for first place in the GIRMAC Motocross Series!  That is so cool!  I think it will be a points battle all year long!  I am also racing in 2 other points series also.-GIRMAC TT Series-3rd in points
and the GMAC Motocross series-1st in points!  That is all I've got for know!  Have fun and be safe!

This weekend of racing was great!  I had my MX race on Saturday and I ran awesome!  After the first moto, my Dad was checking over my quad and found that I had cracked the frame!  It was about 2 inches long and my Dad had to run around like crazy to get it fixed.  One of the Pro Japanese riders named Hosodo, #3 was more then willing to help repair the quad so that I would not miss the second moto.  He got out the generator and the arc welder and they went to fixin' her up.  It took about 2 hours start to finish and they ended up using a huge washer and a bolt to act as a gussett because that was all we could find to make the repair!  It wasn't real pretty, but it got the job done and it has since been done correctly.  My Japanese friend was so cool.  He could not speak English, but we all became friends and he even gave me his race goggles from the race and we took a picture together.  I can't wait to see him next year.

The race on Sunday was a 30 minute endurance race and I was excited.  There was a total of 17 quads for this race!  It was a close battle all day with a few rubbing wheels times.  I finished 2nd in my class and 8th overall.  I was so happy and my quad held up from the repairs it had the day before.  This weekend was so cool and having the Japanese Pro circuit come to Guam to race with us is an awesome experience.  Big thanks to my friend Hosodo.

Hey everybody!  I raced last night and the night did not go well for me at all!  I was already feeling kind of sick before my first moto.  My Dad started my quad for me and it made an awful metal screaching sound!  I did not hear it, but he told me about it.  I got a good start off the line on the flat track and then I started to hear a different pitch in the sound of the motor.  My dad said he and Tony could here that the motor did not sound right, plus I was not getting all the power out of it either.  I kept on running and it died on me again, but it started right back up.  I lost so much ground on the track and I finished in 4th place for the moto.  After that moto I was laying on mommies lap and I fell asleep in about 5 minutes and I had a really bad fever.  Dad and Tony were trying to fix my quad in the meantime.  They took the clutch casing off and found that the clutch shaft bearing had completely broken into pieces.  That would explain the problems the quad has had for the last 2 races.  So now I was sick AND even if I was ok, my quad was out of competition for the night.  I was bummed but relieved because I felt horrible.  I did not run the 2nd moto as a result.  This is the first time in 3 racing seasons that I ever had a mechanical break down on my Polaris Predator.  Dad will fix it and we will prepare for the big Smokin' Wheels event in April.  I'll check you all later!

I am enjoying my first win ever in racing career!!!  This is so cool.  I have raced so hard and it paid off with a win!  My parents have built an awesome quad and I love it.  The new DRX rear end I have works flawlessly!

I had gotten the holeshot off the gate in the first moto and then the bike stalled after I landed the first table top.  I could not get it fired and my Dad was able to get to me and kick start it.  By this time, I was already about half a lap behind the 3 other racers.  I rode like crazy and I was able to catch up and I got into 2nd place when I landed another big jump and my quad stalled again!  It was next to impossible to get it started and my Dad got it started after about 1-2 minutes!  I got lapped in the mean time and I finished the moto in last.  I was upset, but Daddy drained the bowl in the carb and he thinks I had some dirt in the carb.  He took care of it and it was running awesome for the second moto.

The second moto started out really crazy with alot of banging and rubbing.  I got shuffled out of line and I had to come back from the fourth spot.  I ran even harder this moto and I was picking them off every lap.  With about 2 laps to go, I was able to take the lead from A.J.#8 and he and I battled side by side for the last 2 laps and I was able to hold my line and he could not get around me!  I took the checkered flag for my first win ever!  I was so excited and gave high fives to the other racers.  I am racing in my third season and I finally got the checkered flag!  AWESOME!!!!  I've got 2 races this weekend and I will let you all know what happens!

WOW!  This past race was incredible!  We had 5 quads in our 70cc class to race on the MX track.  My Dad and our friend Randy got the starting gates working again and it was great.  In the first moto, I almost got the holeshot.  The race started very close.  I was able to settle in to 3rd position, but Gabe #95 had pressured me the entire moto, but he could never make the pass on me.  I was able to hold my line and it forced him to run the outside for most of the moto.  He almost got me at the finish, but I held him off by half a quad length.  I was racing alot harder and I was jumping alot more also.  My Dad had swapped in an entire rear-end and axle from a DRX quad into my Predator and that also converted to disc brakes for the rear.  This made my quad wider and so much more stable and I was able to run it faster and harder because of it.

The second moto was even better!  Before the last race started, the gates dropped by themselves and we all took off for the corner and the race track was even cleared yet!  They waved us to go back to the gate and try it again.  It was really funny!  The gates dropped and I took off.  I made that hard left turn and Daven#13 got inside of me and he "bounced" hard into the left side of my quad.  It was a pretty good hit and it left gauges in my nerf bars along with some really good tire rubs.  It was just part of racing!  Gabe #95 passed me on the first lap and then I was able to pass him back on the next lap.  He stayed right on my back the entire race.  I was racing so hard and jumping so much that I realized I was catching Davin in 2nd place!!!  I was so pumped!!  Daven is very fast and he usually stays in front of me, till now.  I caught up to him, but I was about 15 feet behind and Gabe was still on my tail.  I ran out of laps and I finished 3rd right behind Daven and Gabe was just behind me for 4th.  Our friend Tyler ran his first race and finished in 5th.  Good job buddy!  My parents said this is one of my fastest races I've run and they are proud of me.  I will bring the heat next weekend as we race another series on that same race track!  I'm coming for you boys!!!!  I wish everyone a safe season and I will check back later!  Raven #83

Hello to all my friends out there!  It has been a while, but we have started racing once again!  The track was working through some issues and we are siked up for the new season.  I am racing in 2 points series at the Yigo track.  They are the MX series and the TT series.  I am also racing in a a little 2 race series for the Discovery Days Fiesta held in the village of Umatac.  A third series will begin this month also and that will be the Monster Energy Series.  I am currently running in the 70cc class with my 2006 Polaris Predator.  I have an entire new rear end that came from a DRX.  It is awesome, plus I now have a disc brake on the rear and a little smaller sprocket on the axle.  We have also put in an unlimited cdi box.  I love my quad!  I raced his past Sunday in Umatac and I finished 3rd.  It was so cool and the track was very slick for the first moto and the 2nd moto was real dry.  It was fun to battle and rub some wheels with my friends again.  I have 2 races to run this weekend.  That will be awesome!  My Dad also raced on Sunday and he finished 2nd overall and he got the holeshot in the first moto.  He was exhausted for the second moto, but he was still catching good air.  I will let you all know how my weekend goes!  Later!  Keep the shiny side up-even 4-wheelers!
