WASHPA RACING'S DRIVER MAKES THE TOP 8 !!!
WASHPA Racing's driver and owner, Jim McClelland is currently being featured as one of the TOP 8 Pros and Amateur Drivers in the nation on Loopd.com sports network, a new branch of Sponsorhouse.com, the largest online sponsorship community promoting
athletes, teams, sports and sponsors. He was selected from over 10,000 listed drivers on the network.
When asked about his new "distinction", novice driver Jim McClelland had this to say: "What a great honor to be listed in the top 8 Pros and Ams. on the new Loopd Network. I was very surprised to see my picture on the main page with such great rally drivers as Tanner Foust and Travis Pastrana. I mean, come on now, these two guys were racing to win Gold at the X Games in LA a few weeks ago. We've been working really hard over the past 8 months to promote the team, the car and the sport of Pro-Rally Racing here in the states and it looks like it's starting to pay off! Jim is the owner/driver of WASHPA Racing, a new Pro-Rally race team based out of Washington, PA. The team is currently refurbishing and preparing for the 2008 Rally Season a 1987 Toyota MR2 that has a longstanding list of top finishes in its illustrious history of Pro-Rally racing during the SCCA years. The team will be racing primarily in the Rally America Eastern Regional Series, but is also planning to enter in certain NASA Rally-Sport races in the East as well. Their two team slogans are "Living The Dream - One Race At A Time" and "We're In It 2 WIN IT". In the near future, we will see them winning many races - one race at a time.
