After suffering a near life ending injury due to an auto accident mid-way through my first Expert season in 2007, I was forced to take a year off to focus on recovery from my broken neck. During my recovery process I volunteered to wrench and tune for a team at all the WERA Nationals, I travelled the country and was crew chief to the now WERA National 600cc novice champion.
I also made contact with John Richards from England and was invited to come work for his team at the Isle of Man TT in spring 2008. This was another life changing experience and helped me really see what I wanted out of my roadracing career. Real roadsracing is now a goal and a dream of mine, I intend to do everything in my power to make it to the real roads races Isle of Man and Ireland.
