2006 Oakwood series I was very excited about! I raced my hardest and never gave up.

Overal I took home 2 second places and one First place.

I was most excited about my 1st place in the 90cc quad class I rode my 70cc with other 90's and still took home first.

Oakwood!!

I love going to that place. It is very family oriented. It is a fun place to be. We camp there every time. I get to play with my friends and hang out.

Saturday was practice. I did very well; there was a long stretch of whoops. I loved them I was doing just as my Dad said and I was flying thru them with out a hitch... One section I was going so fast but not fast enough and did not make the double hit the ground hard. I hit my helmet on my handle bars had to shake it off but I kept going...
My second practice I got into a fender bender flew off my quad but I was ok, my dad came running out to help me. After all that it was time to put my quad to rest for the day and go play with my friends

Sunday RACE day!! I race three classes this season on my 70. 70cc “B” 70cc Open and 90cc “C”
My first race was the 90 class I did really well; I was racing with 90’s and one other 70. I ended up taking home 2nd place! Next race was 70cc open I was just busting my butt; I wanted to do really well. Ended up taken 2nd at the last corner my friend Sean caught up with me and crossed the finish line first... OK, 70cc “B” there are a lot of my friends in this class it is fun racing with all them… I ended up with 1st place. I was so excited!!! Overall it was a great weekend…

This was my first W.O.R.C.S race and was it ever a tough one. It definitely challenged me the entire day both Saturday and Sunday.
On Sat. I had my very first timed motto 30 minutes on the race track. We used the MX course as well as the off rode course. Wow what a tough day. I had the MX track down then came the off rode part. I was tiring my best. I hit a tree got high centered but that did not stop me from giving up I was giving it my all to finish this track. Not really realizing as I was trying to work my way thru the forest my Mom and Dad were frantically waiting at the other end for me. The entire half hour went by and I still was out of site and on the off rode part. This was a 2 mile track, to say the least this was a extreme accomplishment for myself as well as my racing friends. Later I found out that it was the same track the Pro riders were using as well. I took 9th place out of 13 but I was not giving up.

Saturday night I did the Team race with my buddy Nick Klein. That was a lot of fun!! We rode my quad and I liked seeing how fast Nick goes on it. He is a great rider. I can`t wait to have the chance to race with him again. We ended up taking 2nd place.

Sunday my second 30 mintue timed race, this was only going to be on the MX course and I was excited about that! I got a great start. I did a few of the jumps and was having a blast. I ended up in 7th place.

What a fun track. I had so much fun here practice was Saturday boy was it hot but I had lots of fun! There was a huge whoop section after the first few passes I had them handled.
Sunday RACE DAY!! I was already for this track had plenty of practice. I was confident I was going to do well.
Gate drops and I hammer it down to the first corner no one even close to me. Great holeshot. I hit the first couple of jumps and I was still ahead. I was focused and remembering all the tips my Dad gave me. For the first time I had to conquered a step-up. During practice I was a little easy. But race day I hit it! I was so excited when I crossed the finish line! My Dad waiting for me to give me the big high five! First place buddy you did it.

I had so much fun at Eddieville!! 7 mile track but we only used approx 1 1/2 miles of it On Sat. I praticed for so long the first time out I went 6 laps My mom and Dad made me get off to rest. But I wanted more! So I took a break and went back out 5 more laps. Boy was I tired. Pretty muddy the first thing in the morning. My dad was going crazy! ;0)


On sunday Dad decided to put me in the 70 Open class(short track) as well as my normal class 70cc class. (long track)
Besides a 10 year old, I was the second one to the corner for the hole shot!!! Both times. But I was keeping up with him all the way to the corner. Then he got me. But thats ok..
So overall I took 3rd in that race.
My other class I had a bad start on my 2nd moto. my front wheel got stuck in the gate. So needless to say I was last to the corner. But boy did I catch up real quick! I cought up to my compition. We rode tough the entire race switching spots the whole time. He got me on the whoops though. I need to work on those. But on the back corners and the huge hill I got him. It was so much fun. But I still got 2nd place overall.

Horn Rapids ORV. WOW, what a great place. It was super hot. First time there ever. And I loved it!
The race track was great.

My first moto I was doing great the last lap I came down the hill hit the corner wrong and spun out. After getting out of the mud I was off and going again. I ended up in 2nd place.

The 2nd moto I got a great start! I was flying thru the course. I was hitting the corners just right. I landed the table tops perfectly and kept on trucking. I was on target to finish this race in 1st place. White flag comes out. One more lap to go. Dad is out there cheering me on! Giving me all the support a kid could ever need. Mom is sitting on the finish line waiting to take my picture. Checked flag here I come. Needless to say I finished in 1st place. There`s my Dad the best guy ever waiting for me to high five!

Overall at Horn Rapids I took home 1st place! Yes, I did it.. I am so proud of myself.
