up date
Well things did not go as planed. I was back-boarded out and my step-dad was the Sr medic that day ... so he was the one that had to work on me. I hit a rock step-up of 6" at 50mph. Over the bars I went. I am not released to ride and race. This is my first DMF EVER !!!
I'm bruised the muscles in my right hip area and dislocated my right little finger. Sorry to all of my sponsors for the DNF .. I will make it up at Firebird the end of the month. Please go the link and look at the next race .. 60,000 spectators are expected to attend.
We are putting together my autograph posters for this year NOW.
We are asking my sponsors for $50 to assist us in the cost.

The "TIRE PRO'S MONSTER TRUCK JAMMIN NATIONALS"
This is the 9th year FIREBIRD has offered the 4X4 TRUCK'N NATIONALS. Each year FIREBIRD and its marketing partners grew and evolved the TRUCK'N NATIONALS into a major attraction for Off Roaders State Wide. With Tens of Thousands of Enthusiasts visiting the spectacle each year it's easy to see why Tire Pros and FORD Motor Company are anxious for this years event to be the BEST IT CAN BE.
As part of the transition, the name has been changed to the "TIRE PRO's MONSTER TRUCK JAMMIN NATIONALS" .
This year, for the first time, WHIPLASH will be a major player in the two-day event, along with Monster Trucks, a Vince Neil Concert, Street Truck Drags, a Show and Shine and a Hooter's Girl Bikini Contest. WHIPLASH will do the "RACER OFF ROAD", FIRE BIRD GRAN PRIX.

The COURSE
Whiplash, with the help of our friends at Yavapi Materials will build a 'SHORT COURSE" track about 1.2 miles long. The Course will feature "STRAIGHT A WAY'S" at least 40 feet wide with "Turn's" (that a Desert Truck or Buggy can EASILY HANDLE) 60 feet deep with run off room. The JUMPS will be rounded "FLY AWAY'S "again, easily doable for Desert Racers, "DUST" will not be allowed.
Weaving in and out of the "SHORT COURSE" track will be some "BIKE SECTIONS" where the track will "SLOW DOWN" and get a bit more "TECHNICAL". We will use a "HAIR N HOUND" (LAND RUSH) start and finish line "CHICANE" to help with scoring.
ENTRY FEE'S AND FORMAT
The ENTRY FEE'S will be the same as a normal Desert Race EXCEPT>>>>>>>ONE ENTRY FEE pay's for 2 RACES and With EACH ENTRY you get 4 WEEKEND PASSES for FREE, and the option of buying 4 MORE at HALF PRICE (Weekend Passes will be in the $30 each, range)!
The FORMAT WILL include a RACE on SATURDAY and a RACE on SUNDAY, each race will be awarded TROPHIES, PURSES and POINTS (See the schedule for APPROXIMATE race times and number of laps).
REGISTRATION AND PRE RACE FUNCTIONS
Pre-Registration CAN and MUST be done by mail using entry forms available on this WEBSITE or in the WHIPLASH RACING NEWS. Only those with the proper POST MARK will RECEIVE PRE-REGISTRATION POINTS (2 races so pre-registration points are double) >>>>>>>HOWEVER, There will be a PRE REGISTRATION and TECH PARTY at SANDERSON FORD on Thursday evening April 26, 2007. If you Register at that party there will be NO LATE FEE and a BUNCH OF FUN! More info on that as we get it. You can also register at FIREBIRD on Friday from 3 to 7 pm and from 6 to 9am on Saturday, However LATE Fee's WILL APPLY on all FIREBIRD registration's.
BONUS POINTS
If you TECH at the "SANDERSON FORD PRE RACE PARTY" it is worth an ADDITIONAL 10 BONUS POINTS and you AVOID the LINES at the TRACK. This offer is GOOD for ALL CLASSES

***** $300 to 1st, $200 to 2nd and $125 to 3rd SPONSORED BY "SUPER DUTY HEADQUARTERS" in the STOCK UTV CLASS fOR each day's MAIN EVENT.
The concept is much like MONSTER TRUCK RACING except we won't have any cars to crush, just a WELL GROOMED and WATERED TRACK with DO-ABLE obstacles that will CHALLENGE both the CAR and the DRIVER.
Drag Race style ELIMINATOR BRACKETS will be used with the WINNER of EACH ROUND, going to the PAY WINDOW and each day's TOP ELIMINATOR, cashing in "BIG TIME"
There is a $5000 Guaranteed Purse with a minimum of 48 entries; the field will be limited to 128 so ENTER NOW!!
There will be NO TIMING LIGHTS to screw up and delay things. Show up on time and get PLENTY of PRACTICE RUNS and ACTION.
REGISTRATION - RACE FEE
Each Registration INCLUDES 4 (FOUR) FREE WEEKEND PASSES to FIREBIRD and the option of purchasing 4 more at HALF PRICE (weekend passes will be in the $30 each range)
RACE FEE is $200 for the weekend, and covers both SATURDAY and SUNDAY'S entries.
