What inspires you to compete?

Speed, and the adrenaline that comes with it. I love riding my bike fast. I am comstantly trying to get faster everywhere, whether it be on the downhills, climbs or fast and everywhere in between I want to be the fastest.

Why do you like this sport?

I love cycling in general, but i love Mountain biking and mountain bike racing because its so fun and yet so difficult at the same time. I love going fast through the tress and launching off rocks, jumping creeks and flying through good singletrack. It's more individual than Road and a whole lot cleaner. I can look at the top guys and know that they got there riding clean. I don't have to worry about me being fast turning into a moral issue.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I train as often and efficiently as I can. For 2008 I will be working with Rick Crawford from Fort Lewis College to help me reach all my goals.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I have known since I began mountain biking that I wanted to become a Professional Mountain bike racer. That is still true today.
