Q&A - Competition
How did you get started?
I started riding when I was 3 years old, on a used Suzuki JR50 with training wheels. Wide open was all I knew, and I wasn't much interested in the brakes. I started racing when I was 7 years old on a 1978 Honda XR75 in the Vintage Dirt Racing NW series.
List your competitive highlights:
-2009 OMRA Open B class 3rd overall
-2008 OMRA series 200B overal Class Champion
-2007 OMRA 200B class 3rd overall
-2007 Hammer & Tongs Vintage Motocross Umlinited class champion, 125 Evolution Am class Champion, Hot-100 class 2nd overall.
-2006 Hammer & Tongs Vintage Motocross XR75 Int Class Champion, 125 Evolution Am 2nd overall.
-2005 Hammer & Tongs Vintage Motocross XR75 Am 2nd overall.
-2004 Vintage Dirt Racing NW Vintage Motocross XR75 Am 2nd overall.
-2003 Vintage Dirt Racing NW Vintage Motocross XR75 Am 3rd overall.
What are you planning for next season?
For the 2010 season, my racing plan is to make the jump to the Expert class. My plan is to compete in the OMRA 200 Expert class on a Kawasaki KX250F. I hope the challenge of moving to the Expert class and racing with faster more experienced racers will help me improve my performances.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
My 2008 OMRA 200B Class championship.
