April 5th 2008 Chris turned 13 years old. He first wanted to go train with one of the best BJJ instructors in the world , so he went up to Walled Lake, MI. near Detroit about a 2hr trip to Warrior Way Martial Arts. Chris was a special guest on an invitation to learn at the 3 and half hour seminar that included 5 Caique Jiujitsu Blackbelts!!! Knowing the love Chris has for martial arts and brazilian jiujitsu, Caique and his team were willing to have a young BJJ competitor and student from another team. Hats off to them for the invite..This seminar was one of the best that I have ever seen and had the privaledge to have my son Chris to attend. What a birthday gift. Chris really learned alot. It was well worth the trip and afterwards we went to enjoy the city and also took in a Toledo Mudhens game in Toledo. Chris will be competing in the Great Lakes Brazilian Jiujitsu Championships in Canton,MI. May 10th,2008. GOOD LUCK "LILman"!!!
