Fast Answers
How did you get started?
I began as a life-long racing fan. One year I got the motivation to try racing for myself. So, my dad and I visited local shops and attended a few of the races the local karting club held. We soon found a second-hand chassis and began from there. Nine years later and I'm still racing and having fun.
List your competitive highlights
I think my most important competitive highlights was finishing my first race. I was so scared and nervous when I started to run my first race. I started at the back of the pack and ended up staying there. I felt like I was going fast, but I can only imagine how slowly I must have really been going.
What are you planning for next season?
My plans for the 2008 season include contending for the championship title for the Centeral States Super Series, a regional series based in the Midwest. I also plan on running select special events throughout the country.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
I feel that my biggest accomplishments came off the track. In 2006 I graduated with a degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, one of the best journalism schools in the country.
