"Why do you like this sport?
Surfing is more than a sport… it’s a lifestyle. I don’t care how corny it sounds, but surfing literally revitalizes me and inspires me to persevere through any situation, good or bad. The thrill & excitement drawn from surfing is the driving factor of my “interest” in it. You don’t have to think about yesterday or tomorrow, all you can think about is… “Now”, catching the last wave of the next set, pulling in to that barrel or simply relaxing in the ocean. Besides the joy of surfing, it provides for young ones like myself a means of being active and having fun. Like most kids my age, I could be getting high, doing drugs, or just sitting at home not realizing that… there is an abundance of possibilities surrounding me. Instead, I choose to accept the things that are handed to me, that being a surfboard… and an ocean."
