Overview

How I got started

I started riding at age 11 on a RM 80. I first started racing flat track, but got bored of it. My family heard word of motocross, so we decided to try it. I loved it after only racing once, so we have continued to race. Over the last few years we started racing Nationally, I have raced Branson, Lake Whitney, and Ponca City so far. This coming year my family is going to try to attend about half of the amatuer nationals as well as most of our local races in district 23.

Goals for the Future

- Attend most of the nationals and place well
-Have another great season of fun with no major injuries
-Promote the sport of motocross racing
-Demonstrate good sportsmanship on and off the race track
-Train 2-3 times a week
-I plan on finishing top 20 at Lake Whitney 2006
-Make it to Lorretas 06

Bio

Why do you like this sport?

The reason I like this sport is because it is so challenging. All your success lays at your fingertips, resting on your shoulders. I like the pressure and intensity of the sport. And most of all the adrenaline aspect of it, and the feeling of railing that corner perfect just is like no other feeling out there.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am 17 years old. I am currently attending New Prague High School. I consistantly maintain a 3.0 GPA. When I am not riding I enjoy hanging out with friends, playing football, basketball, and golf. I have one brother that is eleven years old that also competes in motocross. I live on 10 acres and have my own track were I ride and train 2-3 times a week.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I do go to Highschool, so I can`t ride everyday, but I ride every weekend, and during the week on average of 2 days. We have an awsome track and we have alot of support from friends that help work on it and make it better. During the Winter since it is an Ice box in Minnesota, we take time off school and go south roughly 3 times.

Schools Attended

I believe in attending Motocross schools a couple times a year, to make sure my technique is good and im giving myself the best chance at winning. In the past I have worked with Shannon Niday at his private track in Texas, and also back home in Minnesota. I really believe in what Shannon preaches, he knows his stuff and he has proven it with riders like the Dungeys.

Employment / Experience Summary

Currently I work a construction job, for KA Witt Co. I enjoy it because it keeps me moving and is physical, so its almost like working out everyday, plus it pays well!
