Personal Q&A
What inspires you to compete?
My inspiration is basically my determination. Also being around all of my friends who ride and race, inspire me the most.
Why do you like this sport?
I like(actually LOVE!) this sport because it is not the typical high school activites that majority of people think. Everyone in my family have played football, hockey, baseball, basketball, etc.... in high school along with my close friends. Not only because it is different, there is no adrenaline rush like launching off of a 80ft. table. You don't get that kind of feeling from anyother sport.
Competition
How did you get started?
I began racing when I purchased a four-stroke. Became a member at Owyhee Motorcycle Club and was convinced to try a to race. I didn't do very well my first race, actually I injured my right foot. But I have believe that "if you ain't wreckin', you ain't ridin'. So I kept with it and now this is what I do.
What are you planning for next season?
Next season, state series, some AMA amature races (planing for Washougal this year).
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
My biggest accomplishment so far, is taking 3rd in the Winter Series out at OMC. But this year has more determination. This winter kinda slowed me down with some family issues, but this summer I am looking for the summer series, and a Amature Day's race at Washougal.
