Overview

How I got started

I began racing BMX in 2002 at Falcon BMX in Meriden CT. I continued into the 2003 race season moving up to Novice and finished in first place. And for my first year racing downhill I basically saw a national and said that is the sport I want to try. So I talked to a few bike shops and other people that did it and built and bike and raced it for my first season and won the point series.

Goals for the Future

My goals are to continue to race downhill with a positive outcome in point series, for the 2007 season I will be racing Jr. X. I also have to focus a little bit more on school seeing that it is my senior year and look to see what I'm going to do weather or not to further continue my education.

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

What inspired me is the sheer exhilaration. Ever since i saw my first downhill race in 2002. Also everyone had a negative attitude around me saying that if I competed I wouldn't be successful  so I am out to prove them all wrong. Also I want to be the best that i can be to better myself to be healthy, strong and to really get my sponsors name out on the market. I try to represent them best that i can.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am 17 and a Senior in Windham Tech and majoring in carpentry. I worked as a carpenters apprentice over the summer to help subsidize my racing. I am an honor student with high B`s and A`s.

Music?

I really listen to every type of music depending on my mood. I've ground up aroud classic rock hair metal and country. So basically I like a little bit of everything.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

When I grow up i want to be a pro downhill because I am addicted. In reality i will be a carpenter because that is what i am attending school for. I am going to take some classes to make my own carpentry business. I also want to take some video editing classes to tape my friends and I ridding street dirt and ect.

How's Life Treating You?

I enjoy my life these days. I like what I do. I try to get out and ride everyday, work and trying to live my last year in high school.
