My name is Bryan Shaffer currently attending Red Hook High School. I'm an honor roll student, also i am a senior this year and i'm 18 years old. I started racing motocross when I was 16. I've been racing every weekend since i started. Fortunately I've been able to go pretty much injury free except for a broken clavicle in 2008, that has been my only injury. Other than that I have been racing every Sunday from the first race to the last race. I've played many other sports and I have found the sport I love to do and thats motocross. No other sport is as fun, exciting and as rewarding as motocross. I practice Monday through Friday for a minimum of 2 hours a day. I also get in the gym Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I do one hour "play" ride on Saturday and on Sunday I race. I was fortunate enough to go train with Greg Pamart in June of 2008, he taught me a lot and I've noticed a tremendous increase in my results in motocross. My first year racing I averaged a 16th place finish. Now in my second year I average a top 8. I race 250c, 125c and collegeboy. Motocross is my life and there is nothing that I would rather do. Also I am able to maintain a 3.0 GPA in school and still able to practice motocross. I am also proudly drug and alcohol free.
