Q&A - Competition

How did you get started?

I started riding with my friend Austin when he got his Predator 90 for Christmas when we were both six. When we moved to North Carolina my mom and dad bought us our first quads. I decided to race after watching how much fun it was for Brody and I took right to it.

List your competitive highlights:

Last race of the Fall Series we were racing at the local track that my dad and his friends usually ride at. I felt very comfortable out there and everythinng just seemed to flow for me. I race a completely stock Outlaw 90 against modified Kaseas and Apexs. While they rolled alot of the jumps, I was taking all the jumps and was able to pass alot of them in the air. I took third place in a field of 10 racers. Out there it isn't about how I finish, but as long as I am having fun competing while still being able to stay at the front of the pack.

What are you planning for next season?

We are looking at adding an aftermarket pipe, CDI, and some nerfs. My dad and Uncle Brian have already went in and lightened up the clutching but according to them "there is alot more to be done". So this upcoming season will be more of a "coming out" so to say. I want to surprise everyone.
