Life of Being Competitive!
How did you get started?
Its kind of a funny story but a guy that I was friends with at the time told me that I could not ride a dirt bike and girls could not race. So I told him to show me how to ride and I have been riding and racing ever since.
List your competitive highlights
2005= 7th in the state out of 52 girls in the Womens 105cc+
2005-2006= I was 2nd in the state for Womens 105cc+ Arenacross
2006= Qualified for Ponca City Nationals but sadly I could not attend to due a illness in the family!
2006= I finished 9th in the state out of 62 girls in the Womens 105cc+ Class again!
What are you planning for next season?
Well as of right now I am training and planning to qualify for Ponca City and this year go. Also I might try for another state jacket but things are still up in the air at this point.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
I think my state jackets have been my biggest accomplishments but I guess just getting through the season with out injury and also knowing that I did qualify for a national but I could not attend.

How's Life Treating You?
Life is treating me very well. I just got done with the 2006 season and finished 9th in the state for the Womens Senior class! It was a trying year for me and my family, we had bike problems pretty much since we took it out of the garage for the summer. In May I blew it up at the Ponca City qualifer in Michigan some how one of the bearings locked up my whole crankshaft. Then through out the year we delt with valve problems and just stuff like that. But right before the last race I got a good friend to work on it for me and we worked all the bugs out and it runs GREAT! I am very happy with my placing for this year and now all I can say is there is no were to go but up from here!
Some Personal Information About Me:
My name is Brittany, I am 15 and go to Stevenson High School. I like to hang out with my friends from school but I would ditch them any day to go to the track. I am a pretty honest person and I try hard in everything that I do. My littel sister rides horses so in the summer me and my mom go one way and my dad and sister go the other. It can be hard at times when I dont have my dad around but I have learned to do a lot with my bike on my own and if I cant do it I have friends that can! My family comes first, followed by racing then my friends. So this is a little about me!
What inspires you to compete?
The drive to be the best that I can be and see how far I can push my self. I know I am not the fastest yet but one day I hope to be. I love the feeling of lining up on a gate with 41 other people espically guys and knowing that you all have one goal in mind and that is to win. My parents inspire me they always tell me quiters never win and they are right. I dont think I could play any other sports it wont give me the same feeling.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
When I grow up I want to remain in the extreme sports industrie some how. I am looking into going to collage to get a bussiness degree then opening up my own shop or a track. But my other idea is graphic art I have a lot of great ideas but I would need to find someone who can draw better then my self.
What has been your most embarrassing moment?
I am not to sure that there is just one but this past summer when I was having bike problems. It rained all day and all night and when you saw the track most people would have had better luck in a boat then on a bike, but i decided to race anyway. I got through one lap and when I came around a corner my bike just died. It just had to die in the muddiest spot on the whole track as I got off I looked at my mom and I knew it would not start again and I just had to laugh. No one was holding up my bike and the mudd sucked in so bad it stood by it self. I was so embarresed because I had to push my bike off the track for the second time that weekend. Lets just say I was not very happy by the end of that day!
