Amateur/Intermediate class!

First off I had a blast and would like to thank everyone who helped set up the race.  I got a bad start the banner was up then down and i wasn't ready.  Igot off the line last and pinned it untill check one and passed everyone. From then on it was just fun fun fun !!!!! I had a blast at this race and hopefully I pulled off the win, but i won't know untill the offical results come out. The race started out well I got a one kick start. I was second to the bomb and second the whole first loop. The corse was fast and i really enjoyed the wide-open sandwashes! The second loop was the same except for the last 8 miles where i was still second according to the workers at the last road crossing. The Shamrocks decided to make the last 8 miles very technical, mostly very rocky uphills, (virgin) downhills, and very tight and HOT canyons. I rode very well not to be passed in the whole section; even when my bike started to overheat. When i dropped into the last sandwash i was fifth gear pinned all the way to the finish. When i looked at the finisher board I was shocked to see thet somehow 2 other novice riders had passed me without me even seeing them !?!?
