Q&A - Competition
How did you get started?
My uncle first started me on a bike when I was 5. I got my first bike, a Yamaha PW50, for my birthday in March.
I started racing ATV's in 2004 with my brother. He got me into the ATV racing after I had a two year break from racing MX bikes and I wanted to get back into racing.
List your competitive highlights
I won the Ice Racing National Championship in 2007 for Open GP Studded.
I took second overall for season points in 2006 (Open GP Studded) for CWIRA. I was beaten by my brother at every event and it was great racing him all season.
What are you planning for next season?
For my next Ice Racing Season I'm planning to compete in the GP style courses (Open GP and 250 Pro GP Studded). As for next year motocross I plan to keep racing District 16 races in Quad A.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
Winning the AMA Ice Racing National Championship on a only slightly modified ATV. I showed that money isn't always everything in racing.
