Interview

How did you learn to surf?

When I was a grom at age 10, my brother tought me at waikiki queens on a 11 foot longboard!! I started super late, but now, I can't get enough of it!! I was scared of 1-2 foot waves, but now, I have no problem surfing bigger waves. My passion is surfing, and I thank everyone for helping me get to where I am at now in surfing, especially God.

Where is your "Home Break"?

I would have to say Ala Moana Bowls no question. I like The left, and I like the right when the left is crowded...It also helps out being my homebreak because I am only a minute walk from there.

Who was your first Sponsor?

When I was 14 I got picked up from a local surf shop in my area (Ala Moana) called Quality Surfboards Hawaii. I still ride for them, I recommend you buy things from there, really good stuff, and amazing deals!! Thanks Jason.
