Got the word today from the doc that it will be another 4-6 weeks before I am 100%. I am still non-weight bearing on my left ankle, crutches are still my friend. I didn't realize my talus bone was totally fractured all the way through, I am still having a lot of swelling in the ankle area. Itching to go riding, started minor rehab myself, working on mental focus, and doing a lot of upper body and core workouts. Later. B. Bones

Update: Feeling good and feeling stronger. I am still not allowed to put weight on my left foot/ankle. Crutches stink, good for upper body workout though. I go to dr. next week to see when I can go back to work and back to riding!! Hopefully I will be at the track in 4-6 weeks.

omg, Injured again,...they call me B-Bones. This time I cased a 90 foot table-single and fx my Lt. ankle. Had surgery, doc put in 3 screws, cast for talus fx. 6-8 weeks recovery. I will be back faster than ever. Not able to work either, driving my mom crazy. Thank goodness for moms

I missed blogging this injury, September 2007, fx Left clavicale, I was out for 6 weeks. No surgery though! Practice at home track, had just got ok from doc to ride again, totally sucks. I have gotten faster from my first injury, due to a lot of down time watching and studying videos and races. Train your mind as well as you physical self! Eat right and train what is not broke.
