Got the word today from the doc that it will be another 4-6 weeks before I am 100%.  I am still non-weight bearing on my left ankle, crutches are still my friend.  I didn't realize my talus bone was totally fractured all the way through, I am still having a lot of swelling in the ankle area.  Itching to go riding, started minor rehab myself, working on mental focus, and doing a lot of upper body and core workouts.  Later. B. Bones

Update: Feeling good and feeling stronger. I am still not allowed to put weight on my left foot/ankle. Crutches stink, good for upper body workout though. I go to dr. next week to see when I can go back to work and back to riding!! Hopefully I will be at the track in 4-6 weeks.

omg,  Injured again,...they call me B-Bones.  This time I cased a 90 foot table-single and fx my Lt. ankle.  Had surgery, doc put in 3 screws, cast for talus fx.  6-8 weeks recovery.  I will be back faster than ever.  Not able to work either, driving my mom crazy.  Thank goodness for moms

I missed blogging this injury, September 2007, fx Left clavicale, I was out for 6 weeks. No surgery though! Practice at home track, had just got ok from doc to ride again, totally sucks.  I have gotten faster from my first injury, due to a lot of down time watching and studying videos and races.  Train your mind as well as you physical self!  Eat right and train what is not broke.

I got injured at my last race at L-Cross.  I fractured my right clavicle.  I wanted to finish the race but the medic wouldn't let me.  I had to go to the hospital in Ocheechobee, Florida.  I live 2 and a half hours away.  My mom was with me.  They took x-rays and put me in a sling and told me to see an orthopaedic Monday.  The orthopaedic doctor said I needed surgery and it was scheduled for Thursday, June 21.  Good thing I had surgery, because a fragment of the clavicle bone was sitting nearand laying on top of my subclavian artery and lung.  The doctor put in a plate and 7 screws, which will stay in place.  I am off of racing for about 8-10 weeks, maybe more??  Sucks, but oh well it could be worse.  Brandon #418

Leaving today to go race L-Cross for the Florida Motocross Series.  I am in 3rd place overall in 250 C.

My RMZ 450 in still in the shop, so my parents bought me a 2006 RM 250 to race this weekend.  I needed a practice bike anyway.  I have been training with Shae Bentley for the last 2 weeks, I learned quite a lot and will lay it out on the track this weekend.  My goal is to place in the top 3 with no injuries!  Later,...Brandon #418

Sunday, I raced at Reddick, I got 3rd in the 1st moto and in the 2nd moto I crashed at the finish trying to do the double doubles to pass 2 guys.  It was a spectacular crash I'm told.  I got 6th overall on a borrowed bike - 2006 RM 250.  My bike is still in the shop, it needs $1350.00 worth of engine parts, ugh!

Today, I getting lessons from Shae Bentley, my mom set it up, I'm pretty excited!

My bike was still in the shop.  Yesterday I borrowed my neighbor's Yamaha 250 so I could race and keep my points.  I got 3rd overall in 250 C, not bad on a 1995 bike.  Always a good day when you're riding!

Bike back in the shop, not news yet.  Probably won't be able to race this weekend.  Gotta get a 2nd bike to ride.

Went to Bithlo to practice for this weekend race, running good.  Practiced for about 2 hours and my last run on the track I was going through a whoop section and my bike totally shuts off.  Over heating big time, fluid leaking, disaster has struck - engine seized.  Yikes!!!
