Hey I'm Jason, but you guys all know me as Billy. Billy comes from my middle name, William. My nickname at the track is In-N-Out because I like to put an In-N-Out hat on my helmet and go racing. I'm 15 and I am a freshman out here in Colorado. So I started racing at the beginning of '07 when I got a Haro sr20 race bike for Christmas. My friends at school wanted me to start racing and I wanted to, so I went with them to the track one day and had a lot of fun. So now I'm trying to get really serious about it while still having a lot of fun. Right now I'm about 20th in my district, which I guess is pretty good for your first year. I already have a few sponsors, and I can't wait to decide who I do and don't want at the end of the year. Unfortunately, I do fall quite a bit, and when I fall, I fall HARD. I usually fall just by pushing myself beyond my limits to win. However, I was taken out at my very first nationals just as I was about to qualify for the main event. I don't really jump much, but I try. In fact just the other day I whipped out, I was proud of that. Someday I hope to be an insanely good BMXer, where I don't fall too much.
I get great grades in school, straight "A"s in honors classes, in fact. and school always comes first, even though I like racing more, because I know I won't be able to support myself doing this when I'm 50. There's much more about me, but I can't really get into that right now.
