Overview

How I got started

I started racing in 2001 when my uncle took me out to a track in Kuna, ID and had my first race and after that I fell in love with it and never stopped racing since.  Now I am a lot older and a lot faster than I used to be and I hope that some day I become fast enough to be a AA Pro and I know I am on my way there now because I can stik it with the pros at our local track.

Goals for the Future

Make mysself better and faster than last season.

State Champion on class and cruiser.

Top Ten district on class and cruiser, had a rough start because of work this winter so I am in the back of the pack right now but I am moving up very fast.

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

The thing that inspires me to compete is knowing that I can actually do something and be good at what I do. Also just going to the track and having fun with my friends and being a great guy to be around and most of all have fun.

Some Personal Information About Me:

My name is Jason McGuire and I grew up in Nampa, Idaho and still live there today. I am the youngest of a family of four, I have an older sister named Kristin my dad`s name is John and my mom`s name is Wanda. I have three cats smoky, patches, and oreo., I also have one fish and his name is whitey because he is an albino goldfish. I like to hang out with my friends, race, paintball, and play football.

Music?

I have always liked to listen to rock and classic rock. Some times before a race I listen to a song by Tom Petty called Wont Back Down. The reason I listen to this song is because it gets in my head and stays there telling me not to back down and that I can do this. I would have to say that I love music because some songs help me when I race. I would also have to say that Rush is my all time favorite band.

Why do you compete?

The reason I compete is because I want to keep succeding in my bmx carrer. I also compete because it is a great way to have fun and stay in shape. I am always around good people when I race and am always having fun. When I race my friends we are friends off the track but when it is race time we want to kill each other.

How's Life Treating You?

My life is treating me very well and I am in my first year of high school, next year and will be playing football for the high school. I am planing on attending more nationals this year and am hoping to take the State Championship this year. I am a proud new uncle of a baby girl, her name is Kaidence, and my only problem is I spoil her way to much.
