Went and ran a 5k 10k double in San Diego, California on July 19th and 20th, which was an incredible sucess. The 5k was 19:18, a decent time for me, though I felt I could have done better. The 10k was a definate PR by a lot, since I don't run many straight 10k runs. I went 38:12, and since the course was an out-and-back format, my splits were 19:32 and 18:40. I negative splitted the heck out of it!

Gotta say, I'm pleased with my progress!

Thank you NUUN, I couldn't do it without you!

I ran a local 5K race on 2-10-2008 and got a PR, 19:41 with 6:19/mile pace. I'm extremely happy with this, especially since I didn't taper, recover or anything before the race: I kept to my plan of a 76 mile ride the day before! Great day......Pics to come.

My planned races so far:

MVTC, Las Cruces, NM, April 6

Collegiate Nationals, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, April 19

Jay Benson, Albuquerque, NM May 11

Deuceman, Show Low, Arizona, May 31

Socorro Chile Harvest, Socorro, NM August 9

Las Alamos, Las Alamos, NM, August 16

ITU Long Course World Championships, Almere, Holland, August 31

Elephant Man, Elephant Butte, September 28
