The season is over. Last weekend was the last race of the season. It was a close battle in the series but I finished in the number 1 slot. Pictures from the last race and all the races this year are in my profile.
The Fall Classic provided 40+ miles of snow, ice, rocks and carnage. What a great race.
For 2010 I will be in the 200 class ready for a new challenge.
Thanks to all my sponsors and friends that make this dream possible,

I took 3rd place at the Fort Rock Enduro this past weekend. The course was around 46 miles. I fouled a plug around 30 miles in and stopped to replace it. The plug fouled again about 10 feet from the finish. Time to re-jet because I will be at the same place again this weekend for the Fall Classic.

380 getting ready for the 25 hour race. The frame had a crack and I have a couple spare frame so the bike was stripped down. It's a good thing because I found a few other problems that needed attention. The wiring harness was pinched between the pipe and frame getting melted down. The chain was about to go with a bad link. The CDI was relocated to the airbox to allow for sharper turning. About all I need now is a new set of tires.

and boulders! It was clear after Saturday's Grand Prix race that the Cross Country race Sunday was going to be ugly. Prineville Oregon has not had a drop of rain in over a month and miles of rocks buried under silt just waiting to roll out from under your tires.
All the competition in my class was on the line Sunday lined up for an epic battle royal. The start of each wave was a lot closer together than the GP races Saturday creating a massive wall of dust and the Junior class gets to start dead last behind everyone. Starting in the last wave forces me to pass a lot of adults but that will make me a better rider so no complaints but it will be nice to move up a little in the starting line next year. The green flag dropped and that first turn into the wall of dust was super scary, you just could not see anything.
The race started out OK as we made our way though a short MX section with a few jumps and a small whoops section b

I am in the final stages of getting my Kawasaki Mule back together, it is expensive to grenade the tranny. The Mule should be back in action by the end of the month.
My KX100 just isn't the bike for me any longer. At 5 foot 7 I am getting way to big for the bike. I plan on finishing the OMRA Cross Country series with it (3 more races) but I will have to move up into the adult classes for next year and use a full size bike. I am thinking the 200 CC Am class is a good fit if I can get a new bike for 2010. I hope I am ready for 100+ mile races that last 5+ hours.
Thanks a bunch to all my friends and spo

25 hour race at Starvation Ridge WA on 31 Oct 2009. We need youth racers 14 and under to form teams. This is one of the best events of the year and it is a ton of fun. Come race with me or against me on another team, it is going to be a blast.
