  Hello,

My name is Anthony Smith. I made this page to let people know more about me. I Drag Race. Ever since I was three I have been around the race track. My grandfather is a multi track champion and my father is a world champion and a multi track champion. Ever since I could remember I have shared memories at the race track. I love being at the track; the smell the site and the sound. I knew as I got a little older what I wanted to do when I get older. That is to be a pro race car driver. I want to be able to go 240 mph in 6.0 seconds. Racing is not only a passion for me it's my life! When I got a little older I found out about Jr. Dragster, it was almost a dream come true. A chance to become a better racer earlier. I knew if I wanted to be a pro I would have to start early. One day I came into the garage and I saw a Jr. Dragster for me. It really was a dream comes true. I was so happy. When I went into school the next week I wrote a story about it called "my dream come true." It was one of the best stories of the year. My dad and I were able to come up with a motor and so we started competing. My dad said I was natural because soon after I started racing I had one races already. Unfortunately we were tight on money so we couldn’t run a lot of races. But in the 2006 season we sat aside some things and we decided we were really going to start competing all out. We entered points at Maryland International Raceway probably the toughest track on the east coast! I knew it was going to be tough so I really worked hard. I was able to bring home many 3rd round, quarter final, semi wins and even a final! People recognized me quickly and they knew they were going to step it up to beat me. At the end of the season I finished 3rd in points. At our awards banquet I was nominated driver of the year! My parents were very proud of me. This year we are going for the championship and running some national events. This past year people really started recognizing me.  At the end of the 2007 season me made much progress and stepped it up. i finished 4th in our national event. We won At maryland International raceway, then won at Colonial beach dragway 4 times, once at Capital Raceway, then at the Raider Et challenge which is when Maryland International Raceway and Virginia motorsports park come together to race eachother which is the toughest race weekend on the east coast and I finished with going to the semis on saturday then runner-uped that next day on sunday.  We had another awesome season and have set up the car for another extremly great season in the 2008 season. We have a 07 body open for a sponsorship if any sponsors are interested. There so much to tell about me. For one I love Drag Racing. Outside of Racing I enjoy many other sports and activities. For one I also love playing baseball. I've been playing that sport for 10 years now and made all-stars 8 of them. Last year my team went to state and placed 3rd. We shut out our district. At the beginning of the season I hit a homerun. I mainly play pitcher and 1st base. Besides baseball I also enjoy playing Football. It's a way for me to go out let some steam out and have some fun, joke around and just enjoy myself. Another thing I do is weight training. It's a way for me to stay strong for sports and especially racing. The last thing I do is drill team for AFJROTC. This is junior air force. I enjoy drilling and show myself in that class. Besides that I go home eat healthy and enjoy hanging out with my friends. I like going out having fun. Also at night I enjoy going down stairs and practice my reaction times on our practice tree. Also when I'm home I work hard on my homework and In school beacuase I am always on honor rule and i like to keep it that way. I’m sure there is more to tell, but that’s just about all of it.
